We can be kind!

One of our school rules is that we are kind. For the past two weeks we have engaged with read alouds and in conversation about kindness; what it looks like and how it feels. The Kindergarteners thought of ways they can be kind and used pictures and words to share their reflections with our community. Writers think of a plan and then use pictures and words to share their plan. 

We then reflected on all of our work exploring and representing our school rules (responsible, safe, and kind) to develop our community rules. The children signed their name on a sticky note and put it on our rules, showing that they agree with the rules we have developed together. 

We have been practicing our community rules through the introduction of Academic Choice!
